New recruits

We happily welcomed two new and experienced nurses, Allena and Amy, to our practice, who although joining us at a busy time, have settled in well. They replaced Jenny, who has now given birth to her first baby, a girl and Elisha , who also left to have her second baby, a little boy.

We have also been able to start to train a school leaver, Mollie, who seems to be taking to her work like a duck to water. She is currently also studying at Shape Training on a regular basis towards her dental nursing qualification

We are sad to say goodbye to our hygienist Gill Rowe, who has decided to retire. Her happy disposition and laughter will be sadly missed and we thank her for all her years of service.

A new hygienist, Paige, has now joined us on some Saturdays and she sometimes kindly helps us at short notice on other days too.

Three of our dental nurses, Andrea, Claire and Sarah, who worked enthusiastically towards their radiography exams throughout last year have now qualified in this field. Well done. We rely on radiographs for many aspects of your dental care and it is most useful to have extra members of staff qualified to help in this matter .

Our long suffering nurse, Claire reminded us recently, that in March 2021 she will have been working with us for 25 years. She has seen many dentists come and go and helped to train many more dental nurses up to the high standards we expect. She is a most loyal, hardworking and helpful member of our team, who keeps everyone, including the dentists, on their toes! Thank you Claire.
